Are safe deposit boxes private?
Short answer
The bank can't see what's inside, but it keeps a record of every visit and the vault is on camera. What's inside also isn't covered by FDIC insurance.
Renting a box means an account in your name. Every time you open it, there's a signature and a timestamp.
In Part 2 it was option three, and the logs are why it lost to the storage unit.
